Dear Friends,
I found this interesting. I hope you do too.
The Pantone Color Institute, the world’s color authority, recently announced that turquoise is the color of the year for 2010. According to Pantone, the color “promotes a sense of well-being,” while also being invigorating and even luxurious. Furthermore, Pantone contends that the association between the color turquoise and tropical waters is particularly appealing in difficult economic times, when people are looking for visual escape. Turquoise also complements many other colors, such as brown, red, pink, yellow and dark blue, because it has both warn and cool tones. The color also has universal appeal. Both men and women identify with the color, and it is appealing in both fashion and home decor. Learn more about turquoise and other color trends at Pantone.com.
