Dear Friends,

We went on our annual family trip. Ann and the boys went with my husband and I to my sister’s on Lake Superior (40 miles east of Duluth). The 12 hour drive was very tiring — especially for the long legged people in the back seat. Jonah has a drivers permit now so he “helped” with the driving. See the attached picture below.

My sister’s family was also there. There were 12 of us. We had a great time — lots of laughing, lots of wiffle ball, lots of sun bathing. It was great to be with the family despite the drive.

Jonah is at the wheel!

Dear Friends,

We had our 2 year old Grandson again last week. Saturday Jonah, his 15 year old cousin, babysat Justice. Here’s a picture of Justice sleeping on Jonah’s lap. It gave us a break. 2 year old’s certainly can be busy.

Justice got really upset when we washed his “blanky” and it didn’t smell right. He threw it on the floor and stomped on it. So, we put him down for a nap and what do you know, the “blanky” smelled great after the nap.

Last week was a busy week at Country Stitches. Everyone really enjoyed Angel from Floriani. She showed us Floriani software and stabilizer. Several people said she helped them learn which stabilizer to use with which project. They were also surprised to learn that Floriani software is easy to use and does some things that 5D doesn’t have.
