Mystery Five-0 is a fun, interactive quilting program where participants create a quilt while solving a mystery story. Each project is released in a series of weekly clues, so quilters don’t know what the finished quilt will look like until the final reveal.
The program runs multiple times each year and is offered through participating quilt shops. As the clues are released, quilters piece sections of their quilt while following along with the unfolding story of Lara Langston, a fictional FBI agent whose mysteries are revealed alongside the quilting steps.
Participants typically receive:
- Weekly quilt clues delivered by email or through their shop
- A chance to sew a full quilt top in about five weeks
- Access to a private community or Facebook group to share progress and tips
- Exclusive patterns available only through participating Mystery Five-0 retailers
The result is a surprise quilt design, a fun story to follow, and a community quilting experience that keeps quilters engaged from the first clue to the final reveal.
There are two programs - Mega Mystery and Mini Mystery
Mini Mysteries are a shorter, quicker FREE version of the Mystery Five-0 quilting experience. Instead of a full-size quilt, participants create a small mystery quilt project while following a series of clues that reveal the design step-by-step in our private Facebook group.
Each clue guides quilters through a portion of the project, keeping the final look a surprise until the end. Mini Mysteries are perfect for quilters who want a fast, fun mystery project, a chance to try new techniques, and the excitement of sewing along with other quilters without committing to a full quilt.
